A Few Ways to Help During the COVID-19 Pandemic
It's an easy time to be frustrated.
Yes, our national government needs to take responsibility and do more to help the tens of thousands affected negatively during this coronavirus pandemic.
But the question has never been solely about what your country can do for you.
The question is: What are *you* doing personally to help alleviate the suffering of others?
Need some ideas on how to take action?
Donate blood. Find a local blood donation center at: www.redcross.org/give-blood.html.
Give money to a local food bank. Find one close to you at: feedingamerica.org.
Set up a neighborhood drive for a nearby food pantry.
Help distribute and/or organize items at shelters or pantries.
Look up aid groups to join (I.e. Zoomers to Boomers) and support.
Collect arts and crafts, puzzles, and other activities for seniors stuck in their rooms at retirement homes.
& anything more you can think of!
So, what are you waiting for?
The world is your altruistic oyster. So don't just sit there at home, do something!
